The in-house R&D centre of Electronica has been established and nurtured by its founder directors since the inception (1973) pioneering the development of EDM technology in India. It has been recognised by the Government of India since 1979.
It is mainly engaged in the research and development of products and technology of manual as well as CNC die sinking Electric Discharge Machines (EDMs), CNC wire-cut EDMs, CAM software, Industrial Automation Products & systems and Special Purpose Machines as well as CNC controls, computer aided machining (CAM) program generation systems, embedded systems, servo systems, EDM pulse generators, machine tools, dielectric systems, machining technology etc. The new technologies developed have been supplemented by a number of patents obtained from time to time.
The R&D centre is equipped with latest test and measuring equipments and development tools including 3D CAD solid modelling tools, FEA tools, electronic simulation and PCB designing tools, latest software development tools and compilers etc.
